THE. BLACK. WOMAN.

The. Black. Woman. She's extremely LOUD! Not only with the use of her voice but with her features. That face. Those lips speak to you before she utters a word. Big, scrumptious, perfectly shaped lips. Her nose. Spread obnoxiously wide. Cheekbones that you'll stare at in awe. And eyes, those eyes, that can paint you a picture of what she's been through. Oh boy and let's talk about that smile, the one that's as bright as a sun and can blind you from seeing whatever problems she may be going through. That smile. The. Black. Woman. She is misjudged way too often. Specifically by appearance. Her "bitch" of a facial expression gives her the perception of having an attitude, or being mean, stand-offish, unapproachable. Frowned upon when she has her hair twisted, braided, or styled back to the origins of her roots. Her hair is too kinky, too big, and too wild. "She should straighten it, maybe even relax it. It would be soooo much easier to deal with." Even when we tried to fit in with the European hairstyles because they were more appealing, we still got backlash from our natural sisters telling us we are damaging our strong, versatile hair to accommodate the European hairstyles. Criticized because since she's a black woman of course she has some ridiculous name that can't be pronounced properly. --Please don't upset The Black Woman for she will react by turning into some rare form of a mysterious creature who is possessed by rage and anger--. At least that's what is thought of us. Our anger is noticed quicker than our happiness. Perceived as a violent person when we are upset (especially in public places). Something so simple like sharing an idea, thought, or opinion about a topic, event, or a statement is viewed as anger to some. The. Black. Woman. Because she's thought of to have so many negative or unattractive traits and characteristics her natural sense to love and be loved, to nurture, her happiness, her goals, her strengths, her morals are dimmed down and shadowed by thoughts, opinions, and perceptions. The Black Woman is a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, wife, partner, lover, achiever, volunteer, trendsetter, leader, strong, unstoppable. The roles of a black woman are endless for we create as we breathe. We have the ability, also knows as 'Black Girl Magic', that allows us to develop new trends with our ideas because of our originality. We are passionate in what we believe in, in what we aspire to do and to be. Passionate about love. We love in its entirety. Passionate about our family, friends, significant others. Passionate and very conscious. We acknowledge our goals, our motivations, vulnerabilities, and our flaws. We handle every obstacle thrown at us on a daily basis with no problem. We lend helping hand to those in need expecting no reward in return, a "𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏Thank you, I appreciate your generosity" will suffice. We play parts in peoples lives that are consequential. --I know many Black Woman who have taken in people because they didn't have anywhere to go, had issues at home, needed a meal, etc. I know my mom did. She's a hell of a Black Woman.-- We stand our ground and protect what needs protecting. We take pride in what we stand for and we all stand for something.

Black Woman you are confident. Black Woman you are amazing. Black Woman you are beautiful. Black Woman you are fashionable. Black Woman you are sensual. Black Woman you are intelligent. Black Woman you are happy. Black Woman your tea is so full of flavor.
