AHH, STIMULATION
Stimulate your mind. Not only with Sativa but with knowledge. Introduce yourself to new adventures, experiences, and people. Reading is literally fundamental. Although, we heard that repeatedly from our parents growing up, it has become very imperative as we matured into young adults. Enhancing your vocabulary and your speech elevates your character. Reading heightens your imagination and allows you to create visual images of the content. It allows you to express yourself differently, interact with different people of your peers, help you find what you are interested in, and become more educated on multiple topics, interests, ideas, values, etc. We get so caught up in what is defined as the norm, what other people think of us, how we see other people living, what isn't going right in our lives that we forget to take time to ourselves and experience new things. Explore the unknown and I don't mean researching about an extraterrestrial being, I mean explore the things that you do not know. Bring your mind to greater levels.
CHALLENGE YOURSELF Go hard and continue to go hard! Challenge yourself with daily or weekly goals. Push yourself to the limit! Literally. How else do you expect to become more goal oriented and successful? Grab a post it note and write down a goal or something that you are challenged with. For example, keeping a consistent work out plan, changing the way you eat, stop using profanity, saving money, planning monthly trips, whatever it is that you want to do but for some reason you haven't found the time to. You could fit the gym into your schedule for an hour of half an hour for 3 days out of the week. Stop eating after 8 or maybe stop eating starches or eating out all of the time, cut down. Use a jar and put money every time you curse and when the jar is full, donate the money to an organization or use it for someone else, not yourself. It would defeat the purpose. Every week put a certain amount in a savings account and double it as your currency increases. Book a flight or bus ticket for a quick vacation and enjoy yourself and explore the area you are in. Give yourself a reasonable amount of time to execute them. Like I said before, once you accomplish one goal you'll have the drive and mind set to keep your focus and get more things done than you did before. Once you have successfully completed that challenge reward (no matter how big or small) yourself so you know how it feels to accomplish a task and celebrate. It will make you want to continue accomplishing things in your life. Don't accomplish one goal and feel like that's where it ends. NO! That is merely just the beginning!!
